Suzanne Dwillies
"Tiri"

Instruments: Piano/Keyboards, Vocals, Cello, Composition/Songwriting details
Something happened 3 years ago...my soul opened to the love of the universe. I am Suzanne Dwillies of Victoria BC ,Canada and I began a journey of music in 2002. That is when I began composing music for piano keyboard and voice. My greatest tool in this journey is my baby, the Yamaha P 120. I have recorded my music at home using the Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 . Frequently I use the Midi bank from the software in addition to that which is part of the Keyboard already. However, I have a Mac now and I will continue my next set of music engineering using Garage Band and other Mac technology. My music currently is a tribute to Tolkien and his Lord of the Rings and the Silmarillion. The imagery and beauty of these works began the journey and I have composed at least 20 pieces..many which I am still editing. I am unsigned because I am somewhat a picky artist!..and I am waiting for the right opportinity. I have played at private gatherings and to friends and family mostly. However ,in August 2005, Birmingham, England, I played 3 of my originals in the Tolkien 2005 conference. The music was used in a symposium/panel on Immortality and Mortality. If you want to hear my music , you can hear some of it on my site. Thankyou, Suzanne.
I am looking to join with other musicians to perhaps start an ensemble with a choral component too, like that of Era or Lesiem.
Influences are Howard Shore, Eric Levi, Michael Nyman,Jim Steinman,,Enya to name a few
