Event Description

the Kingpins, feature the Vocals of former Victoria Resident Hank ‘Uncle Wiggly’ Leonhardt
and Victoria’s own Steve Cross on Guitar, founding member of Powder Blues Jack Lavin on bass, Steve Ranta on Keys and this time in legendary Chris’ the Wrist’ Nordquist on drums with special guest Paul Wainwright on sax.

Based out of Vancouver the Band has been together for over two years now and has become a mainstay at Venues like the Yale and Cottage Bistro in Vancouver. This will be there 3rd trip to the Central.

They play an infectious brand of Rhythm and Blues along with some Rockin’ Blues and Swing. This time in they will be debuting Original Cuts from their just released second CD ‘This Road’ this CD will have you Boppin all night long. All the tunes on ‘This Road’ are originals written mainly by Jack Lavin with all the band members contributing here and there.

Pop down to the Central On Sat the 21st. and Dig some Rhythm and Blues Kingpins Style.
