LISA JOYCE PARRY's stripped down approach has its roots in her love of beat poetry, mod music & fashion, old school country crooners, kick-ass rhythm & blues, psychedelic rock, and all things East Van! DAN MANGAN is a magnetic, vocally ambitious performer who combines thoughtful lyrics and addictive guitar melodies with passion and raw emotion. The graveled sweetness of his weather-beaten voice is immediately recognizable and endearing, superbly supported by a highly talented backing band. Dan's latest CD "Postcards and Daydreaming" is a fluid piece of work with diverse yet complementary grooves, styles and tones. After two hugely successful showcases at Austin's SXSW and The Viper Room in LA, Dan heads abroad to tour the UK and showcase at Brighton's The Great Escape Festival. HUGE MANATEASE - Formed by local music scribe Trevor Hargreaves (vocals, guitar), Iain W. Reeve (xylophone, melodica, cowbell, etc.), Natalie (vocals, keyboards, tambourine) and Juli (drums) one drunken night at the Railway, this new Rock-Glam-Shoegaze-Folk band will keep you entertained as you drink and dance in time to their solid rhythms and twistedly funny lyrics! http://www.myspace.com/hugemanatease

PARLOUR STEPS combine anthemic rock, expansive space-pop, experimental electronica and jazz into their own unique sound coined as Thought Rock. Equal parts rhythm, melody and epiphany, their music is both stormy and playful while unafraid of asking big questions and taking musical risks. Their International Songwriting Competition winning song "Thieves of Memory" can be heard on the Adidas website, the TV show "Whistler" and the Sonicbids Listen Vol. 2 CD.
