Located in the heart of historic Gibsons, BC, Gibsons Public Art Gallery is part of a lively arts and heritage community that supports outstanding commercial galleries, several artists’ studios, a heritage museum and this public art gallery. Gibsons is just a 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver in Beautiful British Columbia. We are situated on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish Nation). Much of our work takes place in the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the shíshálh (Sechelt Nation).
GPAG is a registered non-profit organization. We exist to operate for the perpetual benefit to citizens of, and visitors to, British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, to promote public interest in art, and to encourage those engaged in art practices. All artists working in any medium are welcome to submit exhibition proposals.
We're here to help artists and arts organizations reach their audiences and each other.
Non-profit run and created by the community, ArtsVictoria.ca integrates current event listings and multimedia arts portfolios, and creates an explorable, living archive of the arts in Victoria BC.
